Description

This is a pair of cottages dating from the mid-19th century, located in Sun Street, Lewes. The cottages are constructed of red and grey brick laid in single courses, with a slate roof and chimney stacks positioned on the left and right sides. A single, flat-headed dormer window is centered on the roof. The two-storey, two-window front features sash windows with wide, plastered surrounds. A panelled door is on the left, and a half-glazed door is on the right, both set within wide, plastered surrounds. The cottages are included in the list for their contribution to the architectural group value of the area.
