Description

This is a pair of cottages, built in the early to mid-19th century. The exterior is a mix of red and grey brick laid in a chequered pattern, with grey brick lintels over the windows. The roof is tiled, with chimney stacks positioned on the ridge, one in the centre and another at the left end. There are two dormers with flat roofs. The cottages are two storeys high with an attic, and have a two-window front. The windows are glazing bar sashes set in brick surrounds, with segment-headed arches above the ground-floor windows. Each cottage has a panelled door to the left of its ground-floor windows, both also with brick dressed segment heads. The property is included on the list for its contribution to the group value of buildings in the area.
