Description

44 and 46 Sun Street are a pair of cottages dating from the early to mid-19th century. They feature a distinctive red and grey brick chequer pattern with grey headers. The cottages have a plain tiled roof with ridge stacks located at the center and the right end. There are two flat-roofed dormers, and the buildings are two storeys tall with attics. The front has two windows, both with glazing bar sashes on the ground floor, which have segment heads. To the left of each ground-floor window, there are segment-headed doorways; one has a panelled door and the other has a half-glazed door. These cottages are included for their group value.
