Description

This is a small house dating from the early 18th century, situated in Itchen Valley Easton. It is constructed of colourwashed brick, with flint in the rear wing, and has an old plain tile roof. The main house is a symmetrical two-storey, three-bay structure. A late 18th-century six-panel door is centrally located within a solid frame, sheltered by a 19th-century hip-roofed timber-trellis porch. The ground floor features three-light, segmental-headed casement windows on each side. Above, there are three-light casements to either side of a two-light casement. A dentilled eaves cornice runs along the top of the house, leading to a hipped roof with symmetrical end stacks. A low service wing extends to the rear. This building has group value.
