Description
Bridge View Cottage is a house, probably from the 18th century. It is built of coursed and squared limestone rubble with ashlar quoins and dressings, topped with a clay tile roof that features coped verges on kneelers. The cottage has integral end stacks made of coursed limestone rubble and is roughly T-shaped with an extension at the rear. The front has two rooms, and the front door opens directly into the main room located in front of the chimney stack, with a staircase extending up one side of the stack. The building has two storeys and features two windows, each with three lights and flat-faced mullions. The ground floor windows have flat dripstones, and there is a fire window on the right-hand gable end, along with a half-glazed door to the right.
