Description
Ivy House is an early 19th-century house located on the east side of Greaves Lane in the parish of Ashford in the Water. It is constructed from coursed, squared limestone with gritstone dressings and quoins, topped with a slate roof and featuring brick gable end stacks. The house is two storeys high and has two bays.
The entrance is slightly off-centre and features a flush doorcase with a flat stone hood. The panelled door has two top panels that are glazed. On either side of the door, there are 2-light flush mullion windows, and above, there are two similar windows. All the windows are fitted with glazing bar sashes.
Attached to the house is a garden wall that has a large stone slab base, topped with hooped iron railings and a plain wooden gate.
