Description
The Farm is a house located on Pilsley Lane in the parish of Pilsley, dating from the early to mid 19th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble and coursed squared sandstone, topped with a stone slate roof featuring ashlar gable stacks. The building stands two storeys high and has an irregular three-bay south elevation. The left section is made of squared stone and is slightly advanced, featuring a moulded cornice and end pilasters. There are two glazing bar sash windows in raised ashlar surrounds on each floor, and to the right, there is a doorway with a stone lintel and jambs, topped by a bracketed stone hood. The door itself is raised and fielded panelled. The right bay is built of coursed rubble with angle quoins and has a glazing bar sash window with an ashlar surround on each floor.
