Description

This milestone, located 550 metres east-south-east of the Peacock Inn in Owler Bar, dates from the mid-19th century. It is made from rectangular flagstone set into the ground and features an inscription that has been painted, reading "GLEADLESS/8/MILES/CALVER/6/MILES."
