Description

This is a footbridge dating from the 18th century, located 10 metres northwest of Alport Mill in Harthill. It is constructed of limestone rubble with limestone dressings. The bridge features three shallow segmental rubble arches, with the central arch being slightly larger than the side arches. It has rubble spandrels and low parapets, which are topped by flat copings. This bridge is included in the listing for its group value. It crosses the parish boundary and is associated with another bridge located 10 metres northwest of Alport Mill on Cliff Lane in Youlgreave.
