Description
Hurdlow Manor and the attached barn date from the 18th century and feature a continuous roof. The building is constructed from coursed limestone with gritstone dressings and quoins, topped with a slate roof. The gables are stone-coped with plain kneelers, and there are brick stacks at the gable ends and two brick ridge stacks.
The entrance has a quoined surround and a doorcase with a bracketed stone hood above a glazed and panelled door. On the south side, there are two 2-light flush mullion windows, with a similar window located beyond the door to the north. Above these, there are three additional similar windows. All the windows are 19th-century casements. To the north, there is a four-centre arched doorcase with a chamfered surround, leading to a partially blocked opening that includes a window. Above this is a small hayloft opening.
