Description
Greatlow Farmhouse is a late 18th-century farmhouse located in the Parish of Hartington Upper Quarter. It is constructed of roughcast rubble limestone with gritstone dressings, featuring projecting quoins, plain gables, end ashlar ridge stacks, and a concrete tiled roof. The building follows an 'L' plan. The two storeys have two bays, displaying 2-light flush mullioned windows with 20th-century joinery. The central doorway has a heavy lintel and quoined surround, currently partially obscured by a contemporary pitched roofed porch with a glazed door.
