Description

Lilac Cottage is an early 19th-century cottage constructed of coursed limestone rubble with painted stone dressings and a stone slate roof. It features stone gable end stacks and stands two storeys tall with two bays. The entrance is highlighted by a quoined doorcase topped with a bracketed flat stone hood, leading to a 20th-century studded wooden door. On either side of the door, there are glazing bar sash windows set in plain stone surrounds, with two similar windows located above on the upper floor. This building is included for its group value only.
