Description

Crowdicote Bridge is an early 19th-century bridge constructed of gritstone ashlar. It features a single span with a shallow arch that curves outward at each end, finishing in square piers. The arch is segmental and voussoired, with a large moulded string-course at carriageway level that turns into a plain band around the piers. Above this, there are plain parapets with square section copings that continue onto the piers. The bridge crosses the Staffordshire border.
