Description
Hartlemoor Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the 17th century, with a significant addition made in the mid-19th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble, featuring gritstone dressings and quoins. The roof is made of slate, with a stone gable end and two ridge stacks. The building has two storeys and three bays.
The entrance is marked by a flush quoined doorcase that contains a 20th-century door. To the east, there is a 3-light window with 17th-century recessed and chamfered mullions. On the west side, there are two similar 19th-century windows, and between them is a four-centred arched doorcase from the 19th century, which also has a 20th-century door. Above these, there are similar windows to those below. Additionally, there is a stone shield located above the western door.
