Description
Brook House is a Sunday school dating to 1826, later converted into a house in 1978. It is constructed of rendered stone with painted stone dressings, and has a stone slate roof with stone gable end stacks. The building is two storeys and four bays. A 20th-century porch has been added to the south. A brook now runs under the building through a segmental arched tunnel. The west facade contains four 20th-century windows with raised lintels and impost blocks. Above these are four pointed windows with raised hoods and imposts, featuring Gothick tracery glazing on the upper sections, and small pane casements below. The east elevation mirrors this design, with four similar windows on both floors and matching glazing.
