Description
Hazlebadge Farmhouse and attached barn are early 19th-century structures made from coursed limestone rubble, with some areas rendered. The buildings feature painted stone dressings and stone slate roofs, along with stone ridge and east gable end stacks. The farmhouse is two storeys high and has a double range plan with two bays. It has an off-central flush doorcase that contains a 20th-century glazed panelled door. On either side of the door are recessed, cavetto moulded 3-light mullion windows with pointed lights and incised spandrels, which are topped with returned Tudor hoodmoulds. Above these, there are two similar windows with leaded casements. The attached barn to the west has four bays, with rubble arched doors and windows, and above are four square hayloft doors along with slit breathers in between.
