Description

The gate piers, gates, and approaches, which were formerly part of Beresford Hall (now demolished), are located 25 meters south of Raikes Farmhouse. These structures date from the mid-19th century and are made of rock-faced ashlar. The gate piers have a square plan and stand approximately 2.5 meters high, featuring a moulded, widely projecting surbase topped with ball finials. The gates are made of cast iron and are designed with spearhead railings for Raikes Farmhouse.
