Description

The gatepiers to St Peter's Churchyard date from the 18th century and are constructed from gritstone ashlar. They are square in plan and feature moulded caps topped with acorn finials. Attached to the west side is a squeezer stile made of two slabs of gritstone, with the upper parts cut away. These structures are listed for their group value.
