Description
Ebenezer House, built in 1770, is a two-storey house with attached outbuildings dated 1839. The building is constructed from coursed gritstone, with some parts rendered and features gritstone dressings. It has a stone slate roof with stone ridge and gable end stacks. The south elevation of the house consists of three bays, with a central doorway that has a stone surround and a stone bracketed hood. The door is a 20th-century half-glazed design, and on either side are glazing bar sash windows in flush stone surrounds. Above, there are three similar windows. A circular datestone on the east wall is dated 1770. The attached outbuildings to the west have raised quoins and a segmental carriage arch, with the keystone dated 1839. To the left, there is a window with a flush stone surround, a doorway with quoins and a lintel, and another window with a stone surround beyond. Above these, there is a circular window and four 20th-century windows.
