Description

Greaves Cottage is a house dating from the late 17th century. It is built of coursed rubble gritstone with gritstone dressings and features a stone slate roof with stone coped gables. The roof has a stone ridge stack and two stone gable end stacks, and the building is accented with angle quoins. The south elevation has three bays, with an off-centre doorway that has a moulded stone surround, leading to a 20th-century door. To the right of the doorway is a 2-light recessed and chamfered mullion window. There are two similar windows to the left and three more similar windows above.
