Description

The walls and gate to the Methodist Chapel date from the early 19th century. They are constructed from limestone and gritstone rubble, featuring chamfered copings on the east and north sides of the chapel. To the east, there are gates flanked by square piers that are topped with pedimented copings. Above the gates, there is an iron lantern arch adorned with decorative scroll work, and a simple iron gate is situated below. This structure is included in the listing for its group value.
