Description

Dale Cottage is an early 19th-century cottage located on Dale Road in the Parish of Hartington Town Quarter. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble with gritstone dressings and quoins to the east, and has a plain tile roof with stone gable end stacks. The building is two storeys high and has two bays. A central flush doorcase is topped with a bracketed stone hood, now containing a wooden door. There are two 2-light flush mullion windows on each floor; all the windows are 20th-century leaded casements.
