Description
Clematis Cottage and the adjoining cottage are two cottages dating from the late 18th century. They are constructed of coursed limestone rubble with painted dressings. The southern cottage features a stone slate roof, while the northern cottage has a 20th-century concrete tile roof. Each cottage has a brick gable end stack on the south side. Both cottages are two storeys high and consist of a single bay. They have a flush doorcase with a bracketed stone hood and a 20th-century raised and fielded panelled door. The southern cottage has a 2-light flush mullion window on the ground floor, with a similar window above. The adjoining cottage has a similar elevation.
