Description

This building is a farm outbuilding located to the south-southwest of Hathersage Hall, dating from around 1800. It is constructed of red brick and features dentilled eaves along with a pyramidal stone slate roof that has lead rolls. At the top, there is a louvred lantern topped with a pyramidal leaded roof. The building is square in plan and consists of two storeys plus attics, with broad band courses at the first and second floors. The southeast elevation has a stone-framed Diocletian window on the first floor, while the northwest elevation includes a stone-framed opening on the first floor and a carriage entrance with a depressed segmental arch on the ground floor of the northeast elevation. This outbuilding is listed for its group value with Hathersage Hall.
