Description

This building is a barn, coach house, and stables located 10 meters north of Hillylees Farmhouse. It was constructed in the early 19th century and features coursed stone with ashlar quoins and a stone slate roof. The structure consists of three structural bays and has two levels. In the center, there is a large full-height elliptically-arched coach entry, flanked by stables that each have outer boarded doors. The apices of the building include dressed, circular pitching eyes. This barn is included in the listing for its group value with the nearby farmhouse.
