Description
This building is a barn with an attached coach-house, located approximately 50 metres south-west of Hall Farmhouse. The barn is dated 1871 and the coach-house is dated 1858. It is constructed of rubble with stone slate roofs. The barn is two storeys high and has three bays, while the coach-house is single-storey with three bays.
On the left side of the barn, there are quoins, and on the ground floor, there are three board doors set in deep ashlar surrounds with impost blocks. The central door features the date 1871 on its lintel, and there are no other openings on the barn. The barn has ashlar coping at the top.
To the right is the coach-house, which also has quoins. It features two board doors, including a segmental arched carriage opening with leaved board doors. This opening has rubble voussoirs, ashlar springers, and a keystone that displays the date 1858. The coach-house also has ashlar coping on the right side. This building is included for its group value.
