Description
Middle House is a farmhouse, now a house with an outbuilding, dating from the early 18th century with later alterations. The building is constructed of coursed rubble and features a stone slate roof. It has two storeys with two first-floor openings on one side and one on the other. The house has quoins, with the left side extending outward as if to connect with an adjacent building. The central entrance has a part-glazed door set in a chamfered quoined surround that has been raised in height. The windows are 20th-century casements set in flush ashlar surrounds, and there are end stacks. To the right is the outbuilding, which is slightly recessed and has quoins on the right side. The ground floor of the outbuilding features a window and a boarded door in a chamfered surround, while the first floor has a shuttered opening.
