Description

This is a packhorse bridge, now used as a footbridge, dating from the 18th century. It is constructed of limestone rubble with gritstone copings. The bridge is narrow and canted towards the center, featuring a single segmental arch made of rubble voussoirs and low parapets. The parapet walls slightly splay outwards at each end and are topped with semi-circular sectioned copings.
