Description

The road bridge over the River Bradford is likely an 18th-century structure that has undergone later alterations. It is constructed from limestone rubble, featuring four limestone rubble blocks that rest on the riverbed, supporting large limestone slabs. The bridge has later rubble parapets that include a rough band halfway up and rubble copings at the top. This bridge is part of a series of early types of bridges commonly found in this area along old trackways.
