Description

Dove Cottage and Chapel Cottage are a pair of cottages dating from the early 19th century. They are constructed from coursed limestone rubble and feature a clay tile roof with coursed rubble end stacks. The left cottage is a two-room design, while the right is a single-cell layout, both having an entrance that leads to a lobby with a staircase directly in front. The cottages are two storeys high and have three windows, each with two lights, flat-faced mullions, and plain straight hoods. There are doors on both the left and right sides, with the left door featuring a moulded cornice. Dove Cottage retains its original fireplace range and chimney piece, complete with a bracketed shelf.
