Description

Viator's Bridge is a packhorse bridge, likely built in the early 16th century. It is constructed of ashlar stone with a random rubble parapet and features two roughly 4-centred arches that span the River Dove, with a buttress situated between the two arches. The bridge is noted in "The Compleat Angler" by Izaak Walton.
