Description

The bridge over the River Wye at Lumford Mill is an early to mid-19th century structure made of deeply-coursed sandstone. It features three segmental arches, with the central arch being larger than the others. The arches are constructed with rock-faced voussoirs that have drafted margins and keystones. The bridge has a deeply-coursed parapet topped with ashlar copings, and it is flanked by square end piers that have pyramidal caps.
