Description

Shelter sheds and byres, built in the mid-19th century, are located approximately 40 yards northeast of Elilaw Farmhouse. They are constructed from well-dressed stone and feature a Welsh slate roof. The structure consists of two-storey shelter sheds with a granary above, and two single-storey byres that create a symmetrical U-plan layout. The shelter sheds have four segmental arches and five four-pane casements in the granary above. The byres are arranged in three bays and include boarded doors and ventilation slits. The roofs are hipped.
