Description
The Peels Farmhouse is an 18th-century farmhouse that was refenestrated and had a rear wing added in the early 19th century. It is constructed of roughly-dressed stone and has a Welsh slate roof, forming an L-shape. The building is two storeys high and has four bays, originally consisting of three bays plus a hind's cottage.
The third bay features a 20th-century door, while the windows are four-pane sash types. The roof is steeply pitched with gabled ends, 18th-century kneelers, flat coping, and an original corniced ridge stack, along with renewed rendered-brick end stacks. The rear wing primarily contains 16-pane sash windows.
Inside, the farmhouse includes panelled shutters, six-panel doors, and a staircase with thick stick balusters and a ramped handrail.
