Description

Garden Cottage, probably built around 1829 by John Dobson, originally served as the garden cottage for Harbottle Castle (New). It is constructed of ashlar with a Welsh slate roof. The cottage is a single-story, two-bay structure featuring twelve-pane sashes. It has a moulded cornice, kneelers, flat coping, and a gabled roof with corniced end stacks. A doorway is located in a two-bay rear wing.
