Description
Cherry Tree House is an early 19th-century house, raised by one storey in 1868. It is constructed of ashlar and has a Welsh slate roof. The house is three storeys high and has three windows. The front features a six-panel door with a patterned overlight. To the left of the door is one 12-pane sash window, and two more 12-pane sash windows are situated to the right. The first floor has two 12-pane sash windows to the left, and a single four-pane sash window to the right, which was altered in 1868. The second floor has a small central four-pane sash window flanked by half-dormers. The lintel of the left dormer is inscribed "G.R.T.", and the right dormer is inscribed "1868." The roof is gabled with flat coping and end stacks, the right-hand stack being a later rebuild. The half-dormers have gabled fronts with kneelers.
