Description

This gravestone, located approximately 30 yards southeast of the Church of St. Gregory, dates from the early 18th century. It is made of sandstone and features a small tablet that stands about 18 inches high, topped with a high arched design. The pediment includes a cherub's head and wings, while below it is a sand timer, further accompanied by a skull framed by a banner that bears a worn inscription. The carving on the gravestone is primitive yet executed in very bold relief.
