Description

The shelter sheds and granary at West Kirknewton Farm date from the late 18th century. They are constructed of random rubble with dressed stone quoins and dressings, topped with a Scottish slate roof. The building is two storeys high and features nine bays. The central entrance to the granary stairs is round-arched and is flanked by four segmental arches on each side, two of which are now blocked. The granary has 1/2-slatted and shuttered windows above. The roof is gabled with flat coping.
