Description

West Twice Brewed is a farmhouse and barn dating from the late 18th to early 19th century. The buildings are constructed of squared rubble with dressings. The house features a stone-flagged roof and both stone and brick chimneys, while the barn has a Welsh slate roof. The house is two storeys high with two windows, squared quoins, and a central replaced door set in a chamfered surround. There are flanking replaced sash windows in plain stone surrounds, and the roof is steeply pitched. The left end stack has been rebuilt in brick, while the right end stack is made of stone and includes a top ledge and water table.

The barn, located on the right side of the house, is also two storeys and has two bays. It features tooled quoins and a central doorway with alternating jambs, which includes a Dutch door. The barn has a low-pitched roof and a small lean-to addition to the right of the doorway, topped with a low, pent stone-flagged roof. The barn is included for its group value with the farmhouse.
