Description
Beach House is a house, probably built in the early 19th century on an older foundation. It is constructed of coursed sandstone, roughly tooled in the lower courses and herringbone-tooled above. The roof is pantiled with stone dressings and features a brick stack. The building has two storeys and an attic, with two irregular bays. The central entrance consists of a six-panel door with an overlight, set in a plain frame. To the right, there are 16-pane sash windows on both floors. The left bay is blank except for a window panel on the first floor. The roof is hipped and includes a raking dormer. The left side of the house, which faces The Dock, has a basement with a boarded door, late 19th-century sash windows, and another raking dormer. The left side also features coping and a kneeler, along with a ridge stack.
