Description
The Launderette is a house with a shop, dating from the mid to late 19th century, built on an older foundation. It is constructed of coursed, tooled-and-margined sandstone, with plain stone below the ground-floor cills and a Welsh slate roof. The building has three storeys and two bays. There is an off-centre garage door with a shop window to the right, both situated under a continuous wooden cornice. Flanking the shop window are four-panel doors with overlights; the right door is accessed by three steps and features a taller overlight due to the slope of the hill. The upper floors have four-pane sash windows with stone cills. The building is included for its group value.
