Description
St Robert's Chantry is a house dating from the early to mid-19th century, likely built at the same time as the front range of Bank House. It features incised render on finely-tooled sandstone and has a pantiled roof with stone coping and a kneeler, along with a brick stack. The building is two storeys tall with an attic and consists of one bay. The left side has a four-panel door located under a gabled hood supported by full-length brackets. On each floor to the right, there is a late 19th-century four-pane sash window set in a wooden architrave. Additionally, there are similar twin plain sashes in a late 19th-century raking dormer. The building also has coping, a kneeler, and a rebuilt end stack on the right side. It is noted that the upper floor of this house may extend over part of Bank House, although this could not be clearly observed.
