Description

Bronte Cottage is a small house, likely built in the mid-18th century, with some alterations. It is set back from the road and constructed of coursed herringbone-tooled sandstone, topped with a pantiled roof. The building has two storeys and an attic, featuring two narrow bays. The entrance has a four-panel door, with a small 20th-century casement window to the right and a late 19th-century sash window to the left, on each floor. A wide, four-light dormer window from the 20th century is situated above. The cottage is included for its group value.
