Description
Low Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 17th century or early 18th century, with later alterations. It is constructed of coursed rubble sandstone and features a pantile roof with brick stacks. The building has a central-entry plan and is two storeys high with a front that has two windows and irregular fenestration. There is a right-of-centre plank door, a 16-pane sash window to the right, and a large-pane casement window with two lights to the left. On the first floor, the windows are two-light, 16-pane horizontal sliding sashes, all with painted timber lintels. The farmhouse has coped gables and plain kneelers, with stacks at each end. The interior has not been inspected but is reported to be unmodernised.
