Description
Manor House Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the mid to late 18th century, with alterations and an extension from the early 19th century. It is constructed of dressed sandstone and features a Roman tile roof with brick stacks. The building is two stories high and has a five-window front, along with a one-window extension that is one and a half stories tall on the left side. The two-story section includes a six-panel door at the left end, which has a divided overlight and a keyed long lintel. All the windows are 12-pane sashes, complete with stone sills and plain lintels. The gables are coped, and there are shaped kneelers at the ends. The end stacks are also present. The extension features a tripartite sash window on the ground floor and a raking dormer with a three-light, large-pane horizontal sliding sash. The further extension to the left is not of special interest.
