Description

Clarkia is a cottage, possibly converted from a wash kitchen, dating from the late 18th century. It features incised rendered walls and a pantiled roof with stone coping and a kneeler. The building is one storey high and has two bays, with the right bay extending forward under a continuous roof. There is a small fixed light in this extension and a boarded door on its left side. On the left side of the cottage, there is an off-centre modern glazed door and a two-light modern casement window. The coping is on a block kneeler at the left end. This building is included for its group value.
