Description

No 3 Chapel Street is a house that is part of a terrace but is a separate building, likely dating from the early 18th century. It is constructed from finely-cut, vertically-tooled stone and has a pantiled roof. The house has two storeys and an attic, featuring one window. On the left side, there is a door with three decorative panels, the top of which is glazed, and it is sheltered by a bracketed gabled hood. The windows are 16-pane sash with projecting cills, and there are traces of blocked earlier windows on both floors. The eaves are coved, and there is a dormer with a 6-pane sash window. The right side of the building has stone coping and a large kneeler.
