Description

Lantern Cottage is a small cottage, likely built in the late 18th century. It features coursed herringbone tooled sandstone and has a pantiled roof with a brick chimney and stone copings. The cottage is two storeys high and has two windows. On the left side, there are two steps leading up to a boarded door that is sheltered by a bracketed gabled hood. To the right and above the door are modern two-light casement windows with projecting sills. The eaves have a stepped course, and there is a chimney at the right end of the building.
