Description

Arndale Cottage is a small cottage, likely built in the late 18th century, with a wash kitchen added in the early 19th century. It features coursed sandstone with varied toolings and has a pantiled roof supported by a stone kneeler and a brick chimney stack. The cottage is two storeys high with two narrow bays. There is a modern stable-type door with a glazed panel on the right side, and to the left, a modern two-light casement window sits beneath an early 19th-century 12-pane sash window. A small six-pane sash window of similar age is located to the right. On the left side, there is a large kneeler and a tall chimney that is positioned against the gable end wall of Bramley Cottage. The cottage is included for its group value.
