Description
Woodside is a house, likely built in the early 18th century, with some alterations. It is constructed from roughly herringbone-tooled coursed sandstone and features a pantiled roof with stone coping and kneelers, along with a brick chimney stack. The building has two storeys and an attic, with two narrow bays. The left side has a 20th-century door beneath a small gabled wooden porch, and there is a plain 20th-century window to the right. On the first floor, there are two 12-pane sash windows. The roof has a dormer, and the left side displays coping on block kneelers. The left return features an added wooden porch, a modern window, and a 19th-century attic sash window. The rear elevation shows early 18th-century stonework and a blocked fire window. The added porch is not considered of special interest.
